		<description>Greetings fellow truck food lovers.

We in San Francisco have been watching your battle with great interest.  Last year our esteemed Board of Supervisors passed a law banning food trucks within 1500 feet of schools, theoretically in an effort to ensure a "wellness policy" via school lunch programs and enforce the will of the "Student Nutrition and Physical Activity Committee", a parents group. 

However, this is affecting El Tonayense, a respected and long standing taco truck chain in the Mission.

However:
- no students actually *go* to the truck
- the principle does go to the taco truck, and has stated the truck is not a problem for the students and the lunch program
- the taco truck is behind two fences in the back of the school, and there are dozens of restaurants in front of the school that kids *do* go to
- the taco truck has been there long before the school was built
- ice cream trucks are still allowed to sit in front of schools
